我們,應何去何從?-為幼保系的教育目標與課程規劃尋找可能的出路

How Should We Do?-Reframing the Educational Goals and Curriculum Planning for the Department of Child Care and Education

摘要


94年度科技大學評鑑,評鑑委員建議本系宜就教育目標與課程規劃加以檢討和調整。因此,本文旨在針對如下兩個問題加以探究,以為本系的發展尋找可能的出路:(1)我們,應追求何種教育目標?(2)我們,宜如何規劃課程,以有助於教育目標之達成?由於本系現有的教育目標與課程安排,與我們這一群幼保系專任教師密切相關,甚至可說是由我們的思考和行動所構成。因此,研究者採取類似「自我探究」的途徑:首先,透過訪談理解同事們對本系宜追求的教育目標與課程規劃之認知和界定;其次,藉由對同事們的認知與界定之批判和討論,針對本系可追求的教育目標以及能達成目標之課程規劃提出建議。本文所提出之建議,不僅可做為本系擬定未來發展方向之基礎,對其他欲發展系科本位課程之幼保系而言,亦具參考價值。

According to the evaluation report of university of technology in 2005, the members of the evaluation committee suggested that we should reflect and adjust the educational goals and curriculum planning in the department of child care and education. Therefore, this article focused on exploring the following two questions in order to find the way out for the future development in the department. (1)What kind of educational goals that we should pursuit? (2)What kind of curriculum planning that can help in achieving the reconstructed educational goals? It was convinced that our educational goals and curriculum planning should be constructed in the philosophy and action of all the faculty members in the department. Therefore, the ”self-exploration” method was employed in this study. First of all, the future educational goals and curriculum planning in the department were explored in concerning of the faulty members' opinions through the approach of interviewing. Secondly, some recommendations about how should we adjust the educational goals and curriculum planning in the department were developed according to the results of interviewing. Finally, five educational goals and the curriculum planning that can accomplish these five goals were proposed by us in the end this paper. They can be used as the foundation of educational goals and curriculum planning for the future development in our department, and other related institutions in the field of child care and education can also reframe their educational goals and curriculum planning according to our experiences.
