Fall and Rise of the Innocent: The deep Significance of the Innocent Archetype in the Novel's Characters

摘要

本文使用「內在英雄」這一個人格分類學作為分析工具，嘗試剖析《小王子》、《人子》及《俠客行》三部小說作品裡關於天真心靈的深層生命意義。
天真是生命的原罪？是苦難的入口？是人性裡的瑰寶？是濁世中的最後一口新鮮空氣？在分析的過程中，我們發現這三部作品裡都出現《小王子》的小說人物形象，而且小王子的生命往往同時隱藏了哀傷與超越、沉落與提昇、悲劇與榮光、人間與天上、神聖智慧與世俗智慧、天然的天真與成熟的天真……等等的雙面性，這是不是隱喻了天真者原型人物的存在核心同時埋藏了人性中極光明及極黑暗的兩種可能性。
進一步，本文所整理的天真者心靈之旅，幫助我們指出：生命，原來是一個圓！生命不是直線，生命是一個圓形，生命的成長及蛻變原來是一條「圓型」的道路。
所以，本文不只是一篇小說人物分析的藝評，同時也是一篇生命哲學思辯的論述。

This paper adapts the ”Inner Hero”, a Personality Type theory, to analyze the significance beneath the surface of the innocent archetype in three novels: Le Petit Prince, The Human Child and Legend Stories and Ode to the Gallantry.
What is the meaning of Innocent? Is innocent the original sin of life, the entrance of suffering, the gem of humanity, or the last fresh air in our chaotic world? The main characters in these three novels all have the personalities as the one in Le Petit Prince, which points out the key secret of the innocent archetype.
Therefore, this paper is not only a literary comment, but is also a debate of the philosophy of life.
