身體活動對成年注意力缺陷過動症認知功能與症狀之效益:文獻回顧

Exploring the effects of physical activity on symptoms and cognitive function in adults with ADHD: A literature review

摘要


身體活動對注意力缺陷過動症(attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, ADHD)的認知功能缺陷、情緒與社交技巧失調等症狀有著積極正向的影響,因此身體活動也常被做為ADHD的輔助治療介入,對改善其症狀扮演重要角色。但多數關注的議題仍聚焦在ADHD兒童,且約五分之一的病例在成年後仍保留診斷標準。因此本文獻回顧之目的為統整身體活動對成年ADHD族群之效益。本文對相關文獻進行篩選,並以身體活動對成年ADHD之影響為主軸,就過去研究在實驗設計、身體活動種類、介入時長等因素或調節因子做論述,回顧身體活動對成年ADHD認知功能與症狀的效益。並整理過去文獻研究設計的異同,討論不同種類的身體活動對成年ADHD之相關症狀、認知功能等之改善效果。統整結果顯示身體活動對成年ADHD在情緒、抑制控制、反應時間、注意力皆有顯著的改善效果,且可能可以降低產生憂鬱症和肥胖之發生。另外,在青春期從事較高頻率的身體活動有助於減少成年早期的ADHD症狀。最後,雖然本文收錄之文獻僅一篇為長期介入,然不論是長期介入或急性效果,對成年ADHD改善效益的影響皆有積極的好處。這些正面效益有助於作為支持身體活動具有改善成年ADHD相關症狀、認知功能效果之證據。

Physical activity had a positive effect on the symptoms of cognitive dysfunction, and emotional and social skills dysregulation in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), so physical activity played an important role in improving ADHD vacated also for ADHD. However, much of the focus remained on children with ADHD, and about one-fifth of cases retained diagnostic criteria into adulthood. Therefore, this review aimed to integrate and provide a more comprehensive understanding of the complete presentation of physical activity in adults with ADHD. This review screened relevant literature, focused on the impact of physical activity on ADHD adults, and discussed factors or regulatory factors such as experimental design, types of physical activity, and duration of intervention in past studies. To review the benefits of physical activity on function and symptoms in adults with ADHD. To sort out the similarities and di differences in the design of past literature studies and discuss the improvement effects of different types of physical activity on ADHD-related symptoms and cognitive function in adults. Among them, physical activity was found to significantly improve mood, inhibition HD time and attention, and with reaction in AD adults, may reduce the complications of depression and obesity. In addition, engaging in a higher frequency of physical activity during adolescence can help reduce ADHD symptoms in early adulthood. Lastly, although only one long-term intervention was included in this article, both long-term and acute effects have positively improved outcomes in adults with ADHD. These positive benefits support evidence that physical activity improves symptoms and cognitive function in adults with ADHD.
