中庸的生命哲學

Life Philosophy of the Doctrine of the Mean

摘要


儒學思想是天、人、地三才合一的完整學問(integrated knowledge),其中以人為天地之間的中道(the Mean Way),以儒學為人生探究之主軸。儒學中的易經有云;「易之為書也,廣大悉備,有天道焉,有人道焉,有地道焉。」天道乃宇宙之絕對本體、萬物之原理、萬民之天命。人道乃人類之生活、人倫之規範、人生之文化。地道乃萬有之形象、萬象之存在、萬物之資源。人類上以天道為原理大則,下以地道為經營謀用,中以人道為生活涵義。中庸一番,對天地人三才之道作有精義之啟示,對人的生命哲學多所闡述,凡人道之所含及者,簡要而備矣。本研究以中庸的生命哲學為思想基礎,以其人生哲學為發論,包括生命教育、生命管理、生命意義及生命價值。本論文題綱如下:緒論:中庸的生命哲學之述要一、以中庸探討生命教育二、用中庸研究生命管理三、依中庸述說生命意義四、據中庸論定生命價值結論:中庸思想對人類的啟示與功用

The Thought of Confucianism is the integrated knowledge of the trinity of Heaven, Man and Earth. In this trinity, Man occupies the Central Way (the Mean Way) and the knowledge of Confucianism is the main part in the researches of human life. In the knowledge of Confucianism, there is a classic named I-Ching (the Book of Changes) which said, ”I-Ching is a book whose doctrines are broad and profound including the Heavenly Way, the Human Way and the Earthly Way.” The Heavenly Way is the absolute ontology, is the First Principle of all things and is the Heavenly Decree for all people. The Human Way is the human life, is the norms of human relationships, and is the civilization of human life. The Earthly Way is total phenomenon of all beings, is the whole existence of all phenomena and is the original resource of all things. Human beings apply the Heavenly Way to be their great principle, apply the Earthly Way to manage their material usages and apply the Human Way to perform their life connotation. This book, the Doctrine of the Mean offers a subtle revelation for the Tao of the Three Elements: Heaven, Earth and Man, devotes a lot of illustrations to the Life Philosophy of Man and possesses briefly the contents of Human Way. This research applies the life philosophy to be the thinking basis and applies its human-life philosophy to discuss life items including Life Education, Life Management, Life Significance and Life Value. The outlines of this thesis are stated as follows: Introduction: the brief interpretation of the life philosophy of the Doctrine of the Mean.一、Applying the Doctrine of the Mean to investigate Life Education. 二、Applying the Doctrine of the Mean to research Life Management.三、Applying the Doctrine of the mean to interpret Life Significance.四、Applying the Doctrine of the mean to assert Life Value. Conclusion: The thought of the Doctrine of the Mean offers instructions and functions to human beings.
