師資生的專業學習對其未來成為正式教師之影響甚鉅,在師資培育階段,若能藉由計畫性的課程與活動安排,應能協助師資生發展出具有未來潛能的專業能力。本研究分析慈濟大學師資培育中心所辦理的實務經驗類活動,對涵養師資生實踐素養之成效。自2008年9月至2009年5月所舉辦之實務經驗類活動包括:「教育學程學會活動」、「課業輔導攜手計畫」、「偏遠學校服務方案」、「教育實習輔導活動」四大類,研究者收集回饋意見、問卷、訪談逐字稿等資料進行分析。結果顯示:各類實務經驗類活動可以增進師資生的「溝通、表達與說服能力」、「專業反省能力」、「開放心態」、「更樂於助人」、「自我覺察與多元文化素養」的實踐素養:不過,在「行動研究能力」、「創意教學能力」、「結合媒體進行教學的能力」、「輔導知能」以及「教學評量能力」上則較為不足。本中心所培育的師資生參與教師檢定之通過率為96%,含代理教師之任教比例為70%,師資生的表現相當優異,顯示中心的辦學績效良好。本研究最後也針對師資培育中心在課程規劃與活動設計提出建議,以供相關單位參考。
Grounding on the premise that professional learning have played a key role for pre-service teachers, educators believe a well-planned curriculum and activities in the training stage helps their potential professional skills. This study was designed to understand the effects of practical experience activities implemented by the Center for Pre-Service Teachers at Tzu Chi University. From September 2008 to May 2009, this center sponsored the following activities: a week-long education and orientation program; implements for schoolwork improvement, service programs to remote schools, and guidance to educational interns. The researchers collected a variety of documents, learner feedback, questionnaires, and interview transcripts conducted by pre-service teachers for analysis. Preliminary findings demonstrated that these programs appear to be helpful to learners' communication, expression and accountability, professional reflection, open-mindedness, happiness to offer help, self-awareness and multicultural competency. At the same time, more efforts could be input for knowledge of guidance, action research capacity, creative teaching, and using media in teaching and teaching assessment. The relatively high rates -96% of the learners successfully passed the national examination and 70% of them were teaching at high schools as both formal and contracted teachers-testified to the center's efficiency. Some suggestions on curriculum design and activities were subsequently recommended.
