生物化學跨單元專題實作教學之研究:以「能量代謝」結合「健康飲食」為例

Study on cross-unit thematic implementation project in biochemistry teaching - Take "energy metabolism" integrated "healthy diet" as an example

摘要


本研究的目的有四:(一)設計生命科學系學生適用的「生物化學『能量代謝』結合『健康飲食』跨單元專題實作」教學設計,以提升學生的學習成效;(二)探究「生物化學『能量代謝』結合『健康飲食』跨單元專題實作」教學設計的教學歷程及學生實作情形;(三)評估實施「生物化學『能量代謝』結合『健康飲食』跨單元專題實作」教學設計後,學生學習成效及學習動機提升的情形;(四)根據學生學習後的成效檢討與教師教學的省思札記,對「生物化學『能量代謝』結合『健康飲食』跨單元專題實作」教學設計提出改進之建議。研究對象為一所私立大學生命科學系二年級生物化學(二)必修課程的修課學生。本研究採用行動研究法,使用的工具包括學習動機問卷、認知測驗、課程滿意度問卷等。資料處理採用單因子多變項變異數法加以分析。研究結果發現:1、教學方案實施後,學生的學習動機有所提升。2、教學方案實施後,學生的學習成效也有所提升。3、學生對課程整體感受給予正向,而多元教學活動中,與生活日常相關的實例分享活動最受學生喜愛。這些結果顯示:「與生活情境連結的專題實作教學設計」能增進學生在「生物化學」課程的學習動機,進而提升「生物化學」的學習成效。

The purposes of this study are (1) to develop a "cross-unit thematic implementation project" teaching plan on "energy metabolism" integrated "healthy diet" for Life Science students; (2) to explore the performance of the teacher and the students using this teaching plan; (3) to evaluate the learning effectiveness and motivation of students after the application of this teaching plan; and (4) to propose suggestions for further improvement of this teaching plan based on the teaching effectiveness and teacher's reflection. The subjects of this study were the students from Life Science Department in a private university enrolled in a required "Biochemistry II" course. This study is an action research, the research tools included learning motivation questionnaire, cognitive test, and course satisfaction survey. Data was analyzed with ANOVA. The results showed that (1) learning motivation was enhanced after implementing this teaching plan; (2) learning effectiveness also improved after implementing this teaching plan; (3) students responded positively to the overall course, and the most favorite teaching activity was the discussion of biochemistry topics related to daily life. In conclusion, the results demonstrated that this "life-situation thematic practice in biochemistry" teaching plan promoted learning motivation of students, and also enhanced their learning effectiveness.
