原住民族地方文化館作為教育場域的觀察與反思

Observation and reflection on the local museums of indigenous peoples as an education field

摘要


博物館作為保存、再現、傳承與探究文化樣態、社會價值以及知識觀點的場域,其教育的功能和效應是多元且廣泛的。當博物館是以族群文化為主題時,透過教育機制所傳遞的知識、意義和語言陳述形式,不僅影響他者對文化主體的認識和探索,亦牽動文化主體自身的認知和傳承。為理解原住民族地方文化館中的教育功能形式及其效應,本文以台灣原住民族地方文化館為研究對象,實徵性和詮釋性觀點為研究取向,彙整分析原住民族地方文化館的教育功能定位與目標和實作機制與過程,進而說明影響教育功能的關鍵因素為何以及產生之效應,並藉反思博物館教育和族群文化實踐之間的關係,從中提出當代原住民族地方文化館的教育核心意涵、挑戰與機會。

The Museum, as a field for preserving, reproducing, inheriting and exploring cultural patterns, social values and intellectual viewpoints, have diverse and extensive educational functions and effects. When the museum focuses on ethnic culture, the knowledge, meaning, language, representations conveyed through the educational mechanism not only affect others' understanding and exploration of cultural subjects, but also affect cultural subjects' own understanding and inheritance. In order to explore the educational form and effect in the local museum of indigenous peoples, this paper takes the local museum of indigenous peoples in Taiwan as the research object. Using empirical and interpretive viewpoints as research perspectives, this paper analyzes the educational function orientation, goals, and implementation mechanism and process of indigenous local museum of indigenous peoples to reflect on the key factors affecting educational functions and their effects in order to propose core implications, challenges and opportunities of education in local museums of indigenous peoples.
