本研究利用訪談法,根據受訪的18位現職國中自然與生活科技學習領域的教師,了解他們課堂上採用的教學方法及其影響因素,並分析教師對學生基本能力的重視與創新教學的可能性。研究結果發現:1.課堂最主要的教學方法是:講述、舉實例、提問並討論,其他還包括:示範性實驗或活動、動畫或影片播放、科學家的故事、類比、兩難困境、問題解決與專題學習、隨堂測驗等。2.影響老師採用教學法的因素主要有四:一是目的,讓學生學到東西,其中基本學測和基本知識影響大,但能力指標影響不大;二是教學經驗,師生互動的良窳、三是教材,以教科書影響最大,四是會考慮學生特性做調整。官方的正式課程和教師實際的運作課程,還是有所差距。
The purposes of this study were to understand the influential factors and adopting teaching methods of science and technology teachers in junior high schools, and to analysis whether teachers emphasize the basic competences of student or not, and the possibilities of teaching innovation. There were eighteen science and technology teachers as research subjects by interviewing. The findings of this study were as followed: Firstly, the main instructions were lecturing, take an example, questioning, and discussion. Otherwise, there were demonstration activities, films, video, analogies, historical vignettes of scientists, dilemma discussion, problem solving and project-based learning. Secondly, the influence factors of adopting teaching methods were including of purpose, teaching materials, students’ differences, teaching experiences, and so on. There was a gap between the formal curriculum and operational curriculum.
