職前教師之教學信念反省探究歷程-以參與史懷哲教育服務學習之師資生為例

摘要


本研究旨在採用系列的反省探究取向來瞭解並分析職前教師進行服務學習計畫時,面對了哪些教學信念的挑戰,其教學信念的轉變過程,與透過反思日誌的反省後,其解決困境的策略為何。因此本研究分成四部分(課程教學、班級經營、教師角色與個別差異)來探究學生在教育服務學習過程中所面臨的教學信念挑戰與其轉變。結果發現師資生參與史懷哲精神教育服務計畫時,課程教學上最常遭遇的教學信念挑戰主要為:如何因應學生個別差異以選擇合適的教學法、教學經驗與技巧不足、教學設計分量的拿捏、遊戲教學的秩序管理問題。班級經營上最常見的教學信念挑戰為:學生初始的陌生感、班級秩序管理、學生參與營隊的心態。教師角色上最常見的挑戰是如何亦嚴亦寬。在個別差異的部分,師資生參與過史懷哲精神服務計畫後,皆能體察個別差異現象,並嘗試改善該困境。綜合而言,系列的反思日誌能幫助師資生在服務學習活動中不斷地反思並改進自己的缺失,從而使服務學習活動更有效率且具意義。

This study aimed to realize the challenges of teaching beliefs that the pre-service teachers encountered in the service-learning process, to analyze the transition process of their teaching beliefs and to investigate the solutions they developed through the guidance of the reflective logs. The four styles of teaching beliefs will be discussed, including the curriculum and instruction, classroom management, the perception of teacher roles and individual differences. On the aspect of curriculum and instruction, pre-service teachers encountered difficulties in the selection of suitable teaching methods for students with different levels, in the lack of teaching experience and skills, and in the precise assessment of the amount of teaching materials. Moreover, the most common challenges pre-service teachers encountered in the field of classroom management were the sense of strangeness among students, class order and the students’ learning attitude. The most important concern related to the perception of teacher roles is how to be a magnanimous and principled teacher. In addition, the pre-service teachers also experienced the problems caused by individual differences among their students. After all, the series reflective logs that the author designed helped the pre-service teachers to introspect their defects or the problems they encountered in the service learning process. Furthermore, the logs made the process become more efficient and meaningful as well.
