高爾夫球場組織文化之研究

A Study of Organizational Culture for a Golf Course

摘要


目的:本研究旨在探討高爾夫球場的組織文化。方法:以一家位於臺灣新竹縣的高爾夫球場25位員工爲研究對象,並以深度訪談法蒐集研究資料。結果:一、在理性文化層面,公司重視工作績效與目標達成;二、在發展文化層面,由經理層級以上的主管擔任創新與追求公司業務成長的角色;三、在共識文化層面,公司重視人際的關懷與和諧;四、在科層文化層面,公司重視業務過程的控制與依法行事。結論:一、高爾夫球場兼具四種組織文化的特質,但偏重於理性文化與科層文化。因此,尚需強化「發展文化」與「共識文化」以促進高爾夫球場的運作效能;二、高爾夫球場組織文化的發展受到公司制度的影響,故應建立完善的公司制度以利塑造優良的組織文化。

Purpose: This purpose of the study was to explore the organizational culture for a golf course. Methods: The subjects were 25 employees from a golf course in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Also, this study adopted in-depth interviews to collect data. Results: The results showed that: (1) in the aspect of rational culture, the golf course valued work performance and accomplishment of goal; (2) in the aspect of development culture, personnel at manager rank or the higher played the role of innovation and facilitator of business growth; (3) in the aspect of consensual culture, the golf course emphasized on interpersonal caring and harmony; and (4) in the aspect of hierarchical culture, the golf course focused on the control of business process and law-abiding operation. Conclusions: The conclusions were: (1) characteristics of four types of organizational culture could be found in the golf course while ”rational culture” and ”bureaucratic culture” received more attention. Therefore, the golf court should enhance ”development culture” and ”consensual culture” so as to be well operated effectively; and (2) development of organizational culture in the golf course was influenced by its management system. Thus, the golf court should set up good management system in order to build up excellent organizational culture.
