育成中心是孕育高科技新創事業的搖籃,然而受限於本身擁有資源與能力的限制,許多育成中心經常無法獨立協助進駐廠商從事研發工作;反之必須整合其他的研發資源,籌組研發聯盟,以協助進駐廠商從事研發工作。研發聯盟的推動,除能解決育成中心因研發資源不足,無法協助進駐廠商從事研發工作之問題外,育成中心更能藉此獲得許多與研發有關的專業知識,並藉由這些知識的取得、吸收、轉化與運用,建構屬於本身專屬的專業能力。為此,本研究以吸收能力論為研究核心,訪談六家育成中心專案經理,藉以回答研究擬欲探討之課題。最後,研究發現研發聯盟確實有助於育成中心對研發專業知識的取得,以及潛在能力的建構。惟值得注意的是育成中心普遍無法有效將這些專業予以有效的轉化與運用,並成為提升育成中心競爭優勢之實質能力。
Incubators were a cradle to cultivate the new high-tech ventures. Many incubators could not assist tenants independently due to the resource limitation which they owned. Hence, they must integrate other R&D resources to build strategic alliances for tenants to engage in R&D activities. R&D alliances not only can solve the problem of resources insufficiency in tenants but also can assist incubators to obtain the professional knowledge and capability of R&D. This study was based on the theory of absorptive capability. Research used expert depth interview method to find out how incubators obtained knowledge and capability by way of R&D alliances. At the end of research, we found that incubator could obtain professional R&D knowledge by R&D alliances, but it was difficult for incubators to transform this knowledge into sustained capability.
