應用專利技術功效矩陣分析電動車產業輪內馬達之技術佈局

Applying Technology-Function Matrix to Analyze the Technology Portfolio Strategy of in-wheel Motor in EV Industry

摘要


隨著電動車產業的發展,世界各主要車廠與相關零組件廠,皆欲掌握電動車之關鍵核心技術。電動車產業目前仍屬於新興產業,具有高技術障礙、高研發成本及較長的產品週期之特性。電動車主要關鍵零組件包含馬達、電池組以及電控系統等,企業間的競合關係越顯激烈。本研究以專利技術功效矩陣分析電動車關鍵技術之一的輪內馬達之專利技術發展佈局,探討產業中智財權的策略;並利用相關的專利資訊預測電動車市場發展的可行性,以及提出企業切入相關產業之建議。

With the flourishing of the electric vehicle (EV) industry, the major automakers and components suppliers all over the world are now focus on the core competence of technological development. The EV industry is still an emerging industry, which has high-tech barriers, high R & D costs and longer product life cycle characteristics. The main components of the EV are the motor, battery pack, electronic control system and so on. The co-opetition relationship among enterprises is getting intense. By using technology-function matrix, this study analyzed the patent portfolio strategies of in-wheel motor, which is one of the key technologies of EV. The purposes of this study are: (1) exploring the intellectual property strategies of EV industry; (2) using the patent information to forecast the feasibility of the EV market; and (3) making the suggestions for the enterprises which are willing to invest in EV industry.
