高中職校長領導力、情緒智慧與學校執行力之關係研究

A Study on Relationships among Principal Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, and SchoolExecution of High School and Vocational High School

摘要


本研究旨在比較不同類型學校校長在領導力、情緒智慧與學校執行力上之表現差異情形與探討領導力、情緒智慧與學校執行力之相互關係與影響程度。本研究採問卷調查法,以110位高中職學校校長為研究對象。經調查分析,本研究發現高中校長在促使他人行動上表現優於高職校長。其次,公立學校校長在以身作則、鼓舞人心及學校策略上表現優於私立學校校長。另外,領導力、情緒智慧與學校執行力具有相互關係,而且領導力與情緒智慧是預測學校執行力的指標。據此,本研究建議高職校長宜強化領導力,且私立學校校長宜重視提昇領導力與學校執行力,以及學校領導者宜加強培養有利於增進學校執行力的領導力和情緒智慧。

The purpose of this study was to compare the school type differences of the principals with respect to leadership, emotional intelligence, and school execution and also to examine the relationships among the leadership, emotional intelligence, and school execution. This study utilized the questionnaire survey method and the research subjects were 110 principals recruited from different high schools and vocational high schools. Through investigating and analyzing, the findings indicated that high school principals manifested higher in enabling others to act than vocational high school principals. Public school principals exhibited higher in modeling the way, encouraging the heart, and school strategy than private school principals. Further, there were the interrelations among leadership, emotional intelligence, and school execution. Leadership and emotional intelligence were the best predictors of school execution. Based on these findings, the implication for the vocational high school principals is to strengthen leadership. The private school principals shall also place importance on enhancing leadership and school execution. Furthermore, the school leaders shall need to cultivate the leadership and emotional intelligence which in turn lead to promote school execution.
