Modification of PSS Tubes with Electroless Deposition of Cu and Sol-gel Derived Al(OH)3 Particles in Preparing Pd-Ag/PSS Membrane

以無電鍍銅及氫氧化鋁溶膠修飾之鈀-銀膜反應器特性分析

摘要


本文分別以無電鍍銅及氫氣化鋁溶膠法,修飾並調整不鏽鋼底材之孔洞分佈,得以製備高滲氫通量之鈀-銀膜反應器。同時以修飾前後表面粗糙度及孔洞分佈,來表示膜反應器的特性;以無電鍍銅及氫氣化鋁溶膠修飾底材前後,進行膜緻密程度量測,膜緻密與否以SEM/EDS之影像比較分析之。得知結果為:膜之緻密與膜厚,取決於底材孔洞分佈及修飾表面之粗糙程度。

High permeation hydrogen Pd membrane and Pd-Ag membrane reactors are to be prepared with sequential electroless plating process with a modification of the porous steel stainless substrate, in which an electroless deposition copper process and Al(OH)3 sol gel are used to adjust its pore structure. The characterizations of membrane were analyzed not only on the surface roughness but also on the pore size distribution of the substrate. The denseness of membrane affected by electroless deposition copper modification was tested at first and at last. The material distribution by cross section images of SEM / EDS, and the factors that affect the denseness of membrane were determined. The minimum thickness of Pd/Ag deposition for a dense membrane was correlated with the pore size distribution, the uniformity, and the surface roughness of the substrate.
