臺灣南部大專院校休閒運動健康相關系所主任之領導行為與教師之休閒行為表現研究

Department Chairpersons' Leadership Behavior and Faculty Members' Recreational Behavior among Departments Related to Recreation, Sport, and Health of Southern Taiwan Colleges.

摘要


本研究目的在於探討臺灣南部大專院校休閒運動健康相關系所主任之領導行為,以及教師在工作滿意度、參與休閒動機以及休閒活動參與之影響情形。研究針對南部五縣市21所大專院校休閒運動健康相關系所249位教師進行調查,以工作滿意量表、休閒動機量表、休閒參與量表以及領導行為描述量表為研究工具,進行調查。所收集之資料以SPSS統計套裝軟體進行描述性、獨立樣本差異考驗、積差相關以及迴歸等統計方法分析。所獲研究結果主要為:一、大約一半的教師(53.2%)每週只花4小時以內之時間參與休閒活動。二、系所主任對教師「經常」實施倡導與關懷領導行為。三、教師在整體休閒動機之程度超過中間偏正向動機,各分量表中以獲得「刺激(逃避性)」層面之休閒動機為最高,而在「社交性」方面則最低。四、教師對工作整體情況並不太滿意,其中以「在教育界的發展」最感到不滿意。五、教師休閒參與之程度很低,尤其「運動類」與「戶外類」活動最少。六、教師對工作的滿意程度愈高,參與休閒的動機就愈強;系所主任的倡導與關懷領導行為表現越好,教師的工作滿意度也越高。七、「工作滿意」對休閒參與最具解釋力,亦即教師在日常生活的休閒活動參與主要取決於個人在工作上的滿意情形。

The purpose of this study was to understand the recreation, sport and health related department chairpersons' leadership behavior, and faculty members' (FB's) job satisfaction, leisure motivation, and leisure participation. A total of 249 FBs in 21 departments related to recreation, sport and health in the southern Taiwan were asked to participate in the investigation. The Self-designed Demographic Information Questionnaire, Job Satisfaction Survey, Leisure Motivation Scale, Leisure Participation Scale, and Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire were administered to examine the relationships among those variables. Descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, Pearson product - moment correlation and regression analyses were used to analyze the collected data by the SPSS. Primary findings and conclusions to emerge from this study include the followings: 1. About a half of total number of 249 FBs spent less than 4 hours to attend recreational activities. 2. Chairpersons ”often” implement consideration and initiating structure leadership behavior to their FBs. 3. FBs had positive leisure motivation. 4. FBs were not very satisfied with their job, especially ”the development of educational field”. 5. FBs had very low frequencies of leisure participation, particularly, sports and outdoors activities. 6. The more satisfaction of job, the more motivation of it; the better of chairpersons' implementation of leadership behavior, the more satisfaction from FBs. 7. Job satisfaction was the most predictive factor to leisure participation.
