光激發光劑量計應用於乳房攝影劑量量測之研究比較

The Evaluation and Intercomparison of the Dose Measurement for Mammography Radiation Dose by Utilizing OSLD

摘要


乳癌是女性常見的疾病,定期接受乳房X光攝影篩檢,可以早期發現乳癌,降低死亡率。乳房X光攝影為常用之檢查,受檢者不可避免會接受輻射劑量。我國行政院原子能委員會於民國97將乳房X光攝影儀納入醫療曝露品質保證項目,品保程序通常以游離腔為偵檢器。本研究探討利用光激發光劑量計,依據我國乳房X光攝影儀輻射醫療曝露品質保證之量測程序,評估X光的射值、輻射輸出率及平均乳腺劑量的可行性與方法。為方便比較,同時利用游離腔、熱發光劑量計量測。量測結果顯示,三種偵檢器的量測結果與變化趨勢相當一致,此結果顯示OSLD可以應用於乳房攝影平均乳腺劑量,且可應用於其他乳房攝影醫療品質保證之輻射驗證。

Breast cancer is a popular disease of women in recent years. The mammography is one of the most useful method to diagnose the cancer. The patient will be exposed to the radiation in this diagnostic. In Taiwan, the government implemented the quality assurance program for the mammography in 2008. This study evaluated the method to implement the quality assurance processes utilizing OSLD instead of ionizing chamber. For the purpose of intercomparison, we utilized TLD and ionizing chamber to measure the radiation quality, radiation output dose rate and average glandular dose at the same time. This research revealed that the measurement results are very conformity among three detectors. The measurement results also showed that the HVL, radiation dose rate and average glandular dose match the quality assurance standard. This study revealed that the OSLD is a suitable detector to measure the radiation by following the quality assurance process.
