適應體育與適應性身體活動定義描述及介紹

Definition and description of adaptive physical education and adaptive physical activity

摘要


現階段身心障礙者人口數佔我國總人口的5.1%,以近五年看來,有逐年上升的趨勢。在如此人口增長下,人們對於身心障礙者的各項權益也不能再抱持著視而不見或是忽略的態度。全球的趨勢在於鼓勵所有人參與各項的活動,無論是老年失能者、身心障礙者、術後復健者等。而在提供給這些不同需求者的體育活動,由美國的文獻可以看出有兩種不同的名詞,分別是適應體育(adapted physical education)與適應性身體活動(adapted physical activity)兩者。本文蒐集國內外之文獻以及透過活動及政策的實施來了解我國與美國之異同。在適應體育的定義和內涵中,我國與美國並未有過大差別;但在適應性身體活動的定義上則有較大的不同,且受到的關注程度亦然。針對我國現階段適應體育與適應性身體活動的發展,筆者建議(1)持續推動適應體育人才專業化培訓(2)適應性身體活動定義明確化(3)適應性身體活動之加強推動。

There are 5.1% persons with disabilities accounts of the total population in Taiwan. According to the data of the past five years, the number of people with disabilities has been increasing year by year. We can't ignore the rights of persons with disabilities. The global trend is to encourage all people to participate in various activities, whether is elder, disabilities or post-operative rehabilitated. There are two different terms from the American literature witch to provided physical activities for their needs. It's adapted physical education and adapted physical activity. In this research, we compare the literatures, policies and events to find the similarities and differences between Taiwan and the United States. There are not markedly differences in adaptive physical education between Taiwan and the United States; but however, in adaptive physical activity are different. We wish pay more concern on adaptive physical activity in Taiwan and suggest that (1) continuous promotion of professional training of adaptive physical education personnel, (2) clarification of the definition of adaptive physical activities, and (3) enhanced promotion of adaptive physical activities.
