摘要

空間維持器的主要功能是要在乳牙提早喪失時，能維持牙弓的空間，以提供後續萌發的恆齒能有適當的排列及咬合。舌側弧線維持器是下顎常使用的空間維持器，乳牙蛀牙復空間的喪失，導致恆牙萌發異常，也是常見的病變。本篇病例報告即為使用改良之舌側弧線維持器，應用在下顎乳臼齒提早喪失伴隨恆牙第一大臼齒萌發傾倒時之情形，觀察2年並成功扶正傾倒之恆牙。

The function of the space maintainer is to preserve arch length following the premature loss of a primary tooth. The space maintainer allows the permanent tooth to erupt unhindered into proper alignment and occlusion. The lingual holding arch is commonly used in the lower arch space maintenance. It is common to see the ectopic eruption of a permanent first molar due to the premature loss of a primary molar. In this article, a modified lingual holding arch is used in the premature loss of a second primary molar and mesial tilting of a permanent molar. It is successful to upright the permanent molar and has been followed up for two years.
