A number of factors influence the eruption timing of permanent teeth, including insufficient arch length, localized diseases, and systemic conditions and so forth. Consideration should also be given to further promoting eruption through surgical exposure of the incisor and canine, with or without subsequent orthodontic traction. Treatment planning should be complemented by careful clinical assessment and the use of appropriate investigations. This report presents a case of the 10-year-old boy suffered from maxillary right central incisor and left canine impaction. He had received the orthodontic treatment followed by surgical exposure of the two impacted teeth. A pleasant result was achieved after space closure with improvement in oral function and appearance.
