摘要


英國教師工會已成立有141年歷史,是全球成立最久的教師工會,如果我們能從探討英國教師工會對教育活動、教育政策關注的焦點、以及教師工會對國際教育活動的發展,加以省思,將可為我國教育注入不同的新觀點。因此,我們應於教育改革與教育政策規劃過程中,重視基層各級教師的聲音、籌組具有教育專業特色的教師工會組織、重視國際性教育相關組織的聯繫與結盟、敦促人權教育與全球化教育從教師做起、對政府教育政策具有監督與影響功能、評鑑由獨立的政府機構為之,並提供評鑑後改善支持做法,期使我國教育教育之目標與水準能與世界各國同步,並開創具有我國特有價值的新教育型態。

National Union of Teachers has set up for 141 years, is the longest established teachers' union in the world. If we can learn from the educational activities, the focus of education policy and the development of international education activities in National Union of Teachers, we will have a new point of view in our education. Therefore, we should pay emphasis on the voice of teachers in the process of planning education reform and educational policy, the formation of an educational professional characteristics of teachers unions, the connections and alliances of international education organizations, urging the Human Rights Education and globalization education starting with teachers, the supervision and affect of the Government's education policy, and the evaluation by an independent government agency. So that our educational goals and standards of education should be with the countries of the world simultaneously, and create value with our special new type of education.
