中華職棒大聯盟球隊競爭狀況與觀眾人數關係之研究

摘要

本文利用中華職棒大聯盟2003年至2006年球季例行賽觀眾人數資料、整體勝場資料及各隊對戰勝場資料，藉由吉尼係數(Gini Coefficient)及Pearson積差相關，來探討2003年至2006年球季例行賽聯盟的競爭狀況、球隊間的競爭狀況以及聯盟競爭狀況與球隊間競爭狀況與平均觀眾人數之關係。研究發現1.聯盟競爭狀況部分以2005年最爲激烈，至於2003年競爭狀況最不激烈。2.聯盟競爭狀況與每場平均觀眾人數呈現不顯著的正相關。3.球隊間的競爭狀況與觀眾人數呈現不顯著負相關。

This paper used CPBL regular season games average attendance numbers, numbers of win in whole season and numbers of win of inter-team to investigate the league competitive balance, inter-team competitive balance and relationship between competitive and attendance numbers in 2003 to 2006 by Gini Coefficient and Person product correlation. The results as follows: 1. Competitive balance very balance in 2005 season, but in 2003 competitive balance was unbalance. 2. League competitive balance with average numbers of attendance had weakly positive relationship. 3. Inter-team competitive balance with numbers of attendance had weakly negative relationship.
