The main purposes of this study were to explore the basketball players' performance evaluation of super basketball league (SBL) at season 2005. We selected a well-known tool for relative efficiency assessment, namely Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) for non-profit organizations as well as setting one input (time) and nine outputs (scores, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals, turnovers, shooting %, 3-points shoot %, free-throw %) to measure the efficiency for qualified basketball players. The results of this study not only categorized different positions .of guards, forwards, and centers but find out the players' overall efficiency, return to scale, and benchmarking. The conclusions plotting the relative efficiency and progress indicators for each specific ball player in order to enhance players' competitive recognitions and coaching consultants as well as to establish teams' victory.
