Strategy for Designing an Innovative Ultrasonic Positioning System

摘要


本論文提出一種超音波導盲系統,此超音波導盲系統包含三個超音波接收器及一個超音波發射器,可以計算出凌空障礙物的座標位置,以協助盲胞做凌空障礙物的感測與預警。三個超音波接收器分別被安置在一個正三角形的三個頂點,超音波發射器則被放置在正三角形的中心。本論文探討三個不同尺寸的正三角形超音波導盲系統,並以盲人頭部前方1至2公尺、±15度的範圍為測試區,比較該三種尺寸系統的定位誤差,以作為後續實作系統之參考。

An ultrasonic positioning system is introduced in this report. With the help of this system, blind persons can receive an early warning of the location of an obstacle. The system has three ultrasonic sensors and an ultrasonic emitter, each sensor being located at a different apex of an equilateral triangle and the emitter positioned at the center. Three different-sized equilateral triangles are discussed regarding analysis of the deviations in positioning measurement. An area of ±15°, one to two meters in front of the sensors, is used as the testing area for the three different systems. Simulation results and conclusions are also given.
