The implementation of the University Act, drastic changes in surroundings and a decline in the national birth rate are critically impacting physical education (PE) curriculum policies in Taiwanese colleges and universities. Incorporating ”custom supremacy” and ”student-oriented” business marketing strategies into curriculum planning and endeavoring to realize and match students' needs with their expectations are appropriate ways for university PE personnel to respond. Therefore, in this research, 912 Da-Yeh University students were surveyed to determine their demands for PE and sport facilities, their degree of satisfaction with instructional measures and the factors considered when enrolling in the courses offered. The results of this research could be useful for reference when planning the PE curriculum and sport facilities for Da-Yeh University in the future.
