運用多媒體教學提升主要照顧者之間歇性導尿正確率

Elevate the primary caregiver's accuracy rate of intermittent catheterization program in ward by digital media tools

摘要

背景：未正確執行間歇性導尿，會造成泌尿道感染並嚴重影響復健進度，不僅耗損醫療成本、影響病人的生活品質。主要照顧者正確執行間歇性導尿技術，能降低泌尿道感染，增進病人安全並提升病人生活品質；目的：提升主要照顧者間歇性導尿正確率為90%；解決方案：依文獻查證及小組腦力激盪擬定解決方法：製作間歇性導尿衛教手冊及拍攝教學影片、修訂清潔導尿技術作業標準流程、舉辦在職教育、利用模具增進主要照顧者執行間歇性導尿技術熟練度、製作導尿模具；結果：主要照顧者執行間歇性導尿正確率由68.3%提升至97.1%；結論：團隊藉由擬定解決方法策略執行，加上提供主要照顧者完整護理指導，進而達成提升主要照顧者之間歇性導尿正確率目標，並提升護理品質。

Background: If ICP dosen't be properly executed, it will result in urinary tract infection and influence the rehabilitation schedule heavily. It is not only increasing the cost of medicine treatment, but also affect the life quality of patients. If the primary caregiver properly execute ICP technique, it could reduce the rate of urinary tract infection, improve patient safety and patient life quality. Purpose: To promote the ICP accuracy rate of primary caregiver up to 90%. Resolution: According to the literature reference and group brainstorming to find out solutions. (1). Make ICP education brochure and demonstration film (including Chinese, English and Indonesian). (2). Make standard operation procedure of ICP. (3). Hold unit's in-service education. (4). Make primary caregivers promote the ICP technique proficiency by practicing on teaching aids. (5). Product both male and female ICP teaching aids. Results: The ICP accuracy of primary caregiver elevates from previous 68.3% to 97.1%. Conclusion: Through executing the solution strategy and providing a complete care instruction for the primary caregiver, the team is able to achieve the goal of improving the ICP accuracy and promoting nursing quality simultaneously.
