Many students with learning disabilities encountered difficulties in reading comprehension in Chinese subjects, which leads to a lack of interest in learning for many subjects in the future. Research showed that the strategies of advanced organizers would be able to improve the reading comprehension abilities of students with learning disabilities. Therefore, this article will introduce the basic concepts and types of advanced organizers, and to describe the applications of advanced organizers in reading comprehension for students with learning disabilities. With the guidance of advanced organizers, students were provided with pre-knowledge, so that students can learn meaningfully. Gradually accumulating successful reading experience will trigger the reading motivation of students with learning disabilities. Students will no longer fear reading and learning.
