Critics argue that violent and sexual descriptions in Lin Yaode's fiction are the symbols of the exclusive consciousness of Taiwan rural literature, and show his intention to re-write the Taiwan literary history. Adhering to the concept of "justice", this paper tries to investigate his literary criticism of urban literature, his understanding on realism, rural literature, analytical psychology, and post-modernism, to suggest his literary thought can be perceived as one kind of literature of justice. This study on Lin's fiction and literature review helps develop discussions on literary ethics.
