摘要

初級日本語を教える際、物事の位置を表す「本の中」や「本の間」などの表現が屡々耳にしたことがあるが、管見では「～の中」と「～の間」における実際的な使用状況に関してあまり先行研究が見られないようである。このように、日本語の類義表現の一環である「～の中」及び「～の間」という二者の意味分析には一体どのような異同が見られるのかについて、本稿ではコーパスを利用して、認知言語学的な観点から分析してみたいものである。更に、位置を示すものだけでなく、「短い時間の中」「何秒かの間」などのような時間的用法も常に使われることから、構文的意味の多義性（Polysemy）に関しても考察してみたい。最終的に、本研究における意味分析によって、「～の中」と「～の間」との全般的な使い分けを究明することが期待される。

筆者在教授初級日語時，經常聽到有關表示事物的位置用法如「本の中」和「本の間」等的詞彙，然而先行研究中，有關於「～の中」與「～の間」的實際使用情形的論文卻是顯少未見。因此，本論文將針對作為日語類義表現中的一環「～の中」和「～の間」兩者之間，探究其意義分析方面有何異同，並採以語料庫分析方法，從認知語言學的觀點切入進行研究。再者，不單是表示位置的意思而已，例如像「短い時間の中」「何秒かの間」之類的時間用法也經常可見，本文也將從構句的多義性（Polysemy）角度考察分析。最終目的，希藉本研究對於「～の中」和「～の間」的意義分析之探討，期盼能清楚確立兩者的使用差異並掌握其全貌。｜When I was teaching basic Japanese, I often heard ＂本の中(in the book)＂ and ＂本の間(between the book)＂being used to describe an object’s position, but there seems to be little precedent research on the actual usage situation in ＂~の中＂ (in)＂ and ＂~の間＂ (between). This thesis will focus on the differences and similarities between the meanings of ＂~の中＂ (in) and ＂ ~の間＂ (between) and conduct a more in-depth discussion and research from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. Furthermore, this thesis is about the usage to describe not only positions but also time such as ＂短い時間の中(in a short time)＂ and ＂何秒かの間(for a few seconds),＂ whereby an investigation and analysis will be performed from the perspective of polysemy in sentence construction.
