摘要

潰瘍性結腸炎是慢性非特異性潰瘍性結腸炎的簡稱，為一種原因未明的直腸和結腸慢性炎性疾病；歸屬中醫的「泄瀉」、「痢疾」、「便血」、「腸風」或「臟毒」等範疇。現代西醫學認為本病與感染、遺傳、精神、過敏，特別是自身免疫等因素有關；中醫則認為與溫熱內蘊，氣滯血瘀，脾腎虛衰等因素有關，本病雖然療程稍長，但中醫治療有一定的優勢，值得推廣，本文略述其病因病機及治療方法並提供一醫案僅供參考。

Ulcerative Colitis is the abbreviation of chronic non-specific ulcerative colitis. It is a chronic inflammatory disease that involves rectum and colon with unknown cause. It belongs to diarrhea, dysentery, bloody stool, intestine wind or zang toxin in Chinese medicine. Modern medicine relates it to infection, genetics, allergy and autoimmune factors. Chinese medicine relates it to collection of damp and heat, qi stagnation blood stasis and deficient spleen and kidney. Although the treatment takes longer time, Chinese medicine is quite advantageous in treating this disease. This article provides reference for its cause, mechanism and treatment.
