目的:臨床上發現新移民燒燙傷病童家長大多以原國家觀念來照護病童。本研究藉由提升新移民的燒燙傷知識及緊急處理方式並降低其兒童燙傷。方法:透過中文輔助越文及英文照片,進行燒燙傷知識及急救處理相關教育課程,課程後以單組前後測方式進行測驗分析及滿意度調查。結果:32位新移民於課程前後的燒燙傷知識及緊急處理測驗結果的成對樣本t檢定之P值< 0.01,達顯著差異,整體答對率由54.4%上升至71.0%。活動後滿意度達93.2%。結論:透過教育活動有效地讓新移民瞭解了常見燒燙傷發生的原因及預防方式。期待未來能有更多研究來幫助新移民學習相關燒燙傷知識,降低其兒童燒燙傷機率,提供更好的照護品質。
It's found clinically that most of the parents of new immigrants care for burning injured children with the original national concept. This study is intent to improve the knowledge and emergency interventions of burns and scalds of new immigrants, and to reduce scalds in their children. Methods: This study uses pictures with captions in Chinese and supplemented with Vietnamese and English, to conduct education courses related to burns and scalds knowledge and first aid treatment. A single-group pre- course and post-course investigation was conducted. Results: A total of 32 new immigrants were recruited. The paired t test showed a significant difference (p< .01), and the overall correct answer fill rate of knowledge test rose from 54.4% to 71.0%. The satisfaction rate reached 93.2%. Conclusion: Through the educational activities, the participants could understand the causes and prevention of burns. More research in the future was demanded to help new immigrants to learn about burns, reduce the chance of burns in their children, and to provide better care quality.
