音樂治療初探

A Probe into Music Therapy

摘要

國內在臨床醫療與健康照顧方面運用音樂治療介入方式已逐漸蔚為風氣。但不同的領域對音樂治療的定義、理論依據、專業訓練與實務應用，似乎又非常地分歧。本文針對音樂治療之歷史發展、定義、理論與派別，做一些簡略的釐清。目前國內之音樂治療多半以「音樂為中心」，強調「音樂應用」，而非專業心理師所進行之「心理治療」。提議將國內目前之音樂治療活動依其個別理論依據基礎，劃分為三個不同的領域：（一）「神經生理學」及「醫療照護」領域、（二）「專業音樂治療師」領域及（三）「社會照顧」領域。

In clinical medical service and health care practice, using music as a way of intervention has become gradually more common and popular. But in the aspects of definition, theoretical foundation, professional training and practice application of music therapy, there are apparent disagreements between different domains. The purpose of this paper is tried to clarify briefly the historical development, definitions, theoretical backgrounds and different groups of music therapy. The present interventions of music therapy in Taiwan are mostly ”music oriented”, focus on the practical use of music. They don't belong to that kind of ”psychotherapy”, which is conducted by professional psychotherapists. Due to the diverse theoretical backgrounds by practicing music therapy, this paper suggests to divide it into three different fields:
(1) the field of ”neuro-physiology” and ”medical/nursing care”
(2) the field of professional music therapists and
(3) the field of social care
