The cause and mechanism of this disease is multiple and complex. According to the Chinese traditional medicine Syndrome, we shall divide it into five types to discuss. In western modern medicine, antacid is used to neutralize the stomach acid. More effective, H2 receptor antagonist and proton pump inhibitor are found to suppress the secretion of gastric juices-HCl and pepsin. In addition, some drugs are used to protect the mucous membrance. Since Helicobacter pylori (Hp) is verified to cause PU, Antibiotics are used to treat it, in combination with other drugs.
