Ovarian tumor, which needs operation and chemotherapy and usually accompanies side effects of treatment, is a kind of reproductive organ tumor in female. This 51-year-old woman was diagnosed ovarian cancer with FIGO stage IIIa in May 2013. After operation and 1st chemotherapy was carried out, she accepted admissiom at Linsen Chinese Medicine Hospital for further treatment with Chinese medicine in June 17, 2013. The traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis is dual deficiency of qi and yin, and liver qi invading the stomach. Location disease is in spleen and stomach primary, and in liver secondary. We used the principle of boosting qi and tonifying ying, soothe the liver and harmonize the stomach. When she was discharged, her uncomfortable symptoms and instrument tests results were apparently improved.
