A 60 years old female with a past history of diabetes was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor ten years ago. She keeps taking chemotherapy and electrotherapy, and she has felt numbness in limbs for half a year. She felt numbness especially in the tips of fingers with decreased mobility, and it aggravates with cold conditions. She came to TCM OPD of EDA Cancer Hospital for treatment, and after several times of treatment, the symptom improved and the patient recovered the ability of daily life. Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy(CIPN) is a common side effect of chemotherapy. We expect to provide a reflection of treatment for clinical doctors through this case conference.
