提升護理之家住民團體活動參與率

The Enhancement of Group Activities Participation Rate of Nursing Home Residents

摘要

護理之家住民有高齡、活動與社交受限的特性，安排團體活動可維護其身心功能；經查本單位住民於2013 年1~9 月團體活動參與率為48.7%、憂鬱指數12 分。經規劃團體活動設計、再造團體活動空間、舉辦在職教育、增添活動輔具、復健及音樂律動團康器材，使團體活動參與率由48.7%提升至62.3%、憂鬱指數由12 分降至7 分，均達成專案目標；附加價值為團體活動滿意度自48.4%提升至73.6%，投訴事件由2 件降至0 件。在高齡化的社會，護理之家將成為老人照護模式的主流，藉由考量老人活動能力及身體功能的限制，設計適當的團體活動，將提升其身體功能、與他人互動、心理健康及機構內的調適，亦能提昇其晚年的生活品質。

The residents of nursing home generally possess the following characteristics: senility, limited physical and social activities. Their physical and psychological functions can be maintained by participation of group activities. It was shown by the investigation that between January and September on 2013 the group activity participation rate and the depression score of this institution’s residents were 48.7% and 12 points respectively. However, through planning designing of group activity, reorganizing the group activity space, holding on-the-job education, acquiring activity assistive devices, rehabilitative and music–together equipment, the participation rate was raised from 48.7% to 62.3%, and the depression score dropped from 12 points to 7 points, both of which reached the goal of the project. The added values included the increase of activity satisfaction rate from 48.4% to 73.6%, and the decrease of complaints from 2 to nothing. In an aged society, the nursing home may become the mainstream model of elderly care. By means of taking into consideration the elderly’s limited activity ability and physical function, and designing appropriate group activity programs, we may improve their physical function, their interaction with others, their mental health, and their adaption to the institutional environment. In addition, the living quality of their later years may also be promoted.
