“中國作家”/“台灣作家”：夢的兩端－解讀鍾理和返台前後的作品
"Chinese Writer"/"Taiwan Writer": Two Sides of Dream-Explain the Writings of Chung li-ho between before and after That He Came Back to Taiwan
摘要
日據時期，台灣文壇吹起「皇民文學」之風；許多作家的創作，都呈現向「日本精神」傾斜的趨向；鍾理和是皇民文學的絕緣體，與殖民政府遠離，思惟充滿著濃厚的「祖國意識」。對「原鄉」的好奇、憧憬、渴望，及「同姓之婚」的因素，使他遠赴「原鄉」；達成「中國作家」之夢，則是他創作的終極追求。 他到「原鄉」走一遭，對「原鄉」的想像幻滅；戰後回到睽違已久的台灣，在「悲哀/覺醒」、「歸來/離棄」中，鍾理和走進「故鄉」，進一步發現「故鄉」。雖然「故鄉」變色，大地之子悲哀啜泣，他只能痛苦的擁抱「故鄉」，最終面對現實的慘狀。在「山歌」與客家優良傳統精神中，鍾理和重新找到自己的定位；我手寫我土地，終於成為一位道道地地的「台灣作家」。 在戰後以「故鄉」為主題的一系列創作中，鍾理和深刻的刻劃出當時台灣的真正面目，沒有粉飾太平的虛幻，只有深情的關懷與接納。這也就是，為什麼一生以創作為職志，以成為「中國作家」為最大夢想的鍾理和，最後卻成為道道地地的「台灣作家」的最主要原因。

The style of royal literary flourished at the literary word of Taiwan in the time of Japanese occupied it. Most of the writers followed the style, Chung li-ho was a special one, he didn't. He admired ”NATIVE LAND”, and yearned for ”motherland”. Because of his special marriage which couldn't accept by his society, he went to China with his wife. Being a ”Chinese writer” was his beautiful and forever dream. He went to China and came back sadly to Taiwan after 8 years, his dream came to nothing at all. Then he came near Taiwan, and found it. Although the native land changed, people lived uncomfortably, he accepted it and faced it. He was concerned about it, and found the beauty of Taiwan. Then he wrote it. The last, he became a successful Taiwan writer. The articles of 〈native land〉of Chung li-ho, showed the reality of Taiwan, from it, we can know about our native land now. Chung li-ho loves writing. Being a ”Chinese writer” was his beautiful and forever dream, but he became a successful Taiwan writer the last. From his writings, we can find the change of his writing thought between before and after that he came back to Taiwan.
