The number of students enrolled in technical high schools accounts for more than half of all high school students. However, Chinese education policies in technical high schools are rarely noticed by scholars. The research method used in this study is to analyze the curriculum guideline, ask the teachers to fill out the questionnaire and observe the four-year TVE college entrance examination. The results of this study show that although teachers agree that the Chinese curriculum should match the goals of technical education, they still emphasize the need to maintain the independence of the discipline.
