從小說至兒童劇場的隱藏與再現:以《邦查女孩》到《一步一步:邦查女孩森林遇》為例

THE HIDES AND REAPPEARANCES FROM NOVEL TO CHILDREN'S THEATER: FROM "THE PANGCAH GIRL" TO "STEP BY STEP: THE PANGCAH GIRL'S ENCOUNTER IN WOODS"

摘要


全球化浪潮下本土文化如何被彰顯保存成為一個重要課題。文學作品記錄著自身歷史與社會意識,為求推廣,臺灣文學的作品改編,無論電影、電視劇,或劇場皆是改編方向,兒童劇場更因閱聽眾的特殊性而有不同教育意義。本文以甘耀明原著《邦查女孩》與其改編之兒童劇場為例,探討兩千年後臺灣文學作品與兒童劇場的改編關係與意義。並指出甘耀明在小說中所呈現特色在於寫實性與地方感、內容的多元性、與生態意識,而在兒童劇場改編後,也因閱聽眾的特殊性,及劇場娛樂性,而淡化原著的批判力道,是兒童劇場在改編小說作品時值得思考的一環。

Globalization is almost a tendency. Therefore, how to maintain and enhance local culture becomes an important issue. While literature develops the material of stories, it also records the history and shows social consciousness. In order to promote Taiwanese literature, the adaption can be show not only in movies, TV dramas, but also in theater. Especially in children's theater, it appeals to education consideration because of the audience's characteristics. The research observes the drama "Step by step: The Pangcah Girl's encounter in woods," which is adapted from the novel "The Pangcah Girl," and discusses the meaning between Taiwanese literature and children's theater after the 2000's. The atmosphere of reality and local, diversity, and ecology consciousness in the novel are the special themes in "The Pangcah Girl." Although the adaption can maintain the specialty of Taiwan's local culture, the children's specialty and the entertainment in theater weakened the criticism in the novel. How to adapt the story and include the meaning of Taiwan becomes a significant issue.
