A department's first impression is important as it will eventually attract visitors to further understand the department's courses and features. In the past, most departments used traditional touring methods, which produced limited results, and difficulty resonating and interacting with visitors. To create a different interactive touring method, our research constructed an Augmented Reality (AR) Touring System using EyeJack and Mixamo. This system is implemented in the various activity spaces of Ming Chuan University Department of Leisure and Recreation Management mainly linking four professional characteristic teaching fields. Then, experimental methods were used to compare visitors' learning motives and learning engagement in both AR-assisted and traditional tours. The research result shows that AR-assisted tours may improve visitor's willingness in active learning, while demonstrating higher focus by submerging themselves during the process. Finally, this study aims to improve the department's touring system by improving the integration of the system's hardware and software, while providing insight on the benefit of this system in student enrollment.
