論王船山《說文廣義》之漢字文化思想

Wang Fuzhi’s Thought of Chinese Character Culture

摘要


王夫之(1619-1692)為清初思想大家,《說文廣義》是其語言文字學類唯一之著作,內容雖是補《說文》之所未備,闡明文字之用,同時亦展現出對於漢字文化思想之看法。王氏從對於字詞本義的解讀,顯露出其深厚的人文涵養。對於民眾詞語的使用,特別是尊卑及親屬之稱,有所不滿,以為若名實不符,會造成尊卑、親疏之不明,如此則社會及國家容易混亂,故藉由文字考證,試圖導正此種現象。再者,王氏對於時人字詞運用,雜入佛教等夷族詞語,特別予以指正,這在當時清代入主中原之際,表現出強烈的民族主義精神。《說文廣義》以《說文》本義為依據,試圖說明語詞的正確用法,有著強調純正漢語,不容流俗及異族亂我文化之心志,也因此王夫之雖擅長思想義理之研究,卻撰作小學類之著作,其用意或許與此有關。

For Wang and when people use the word, the word hybrid into Buddhism, in particular, to be corrected, which at the time ruled the Qing Dynasty, showing a strong spirit of nationalism. Wang to "Shuo wen," based on the original meaning, trying to explain the correct use of words, has emphasized pure Chinese, not alien chaos ambition Language and Culture.
