摘要

本文介紹中醫在馬來西亞的發展與困境。自古以來中醫屬於民族傳統醫學之一，中醫對馬來西亞各民族之衛生保健已作出重大貢獻，然而從事中醫行業的醫師教育水平參差不齊，臨床訓練場地也不足，馬來西亞政府對中醫學術不予承認，中醫師尚未得到合法的地位。但民間對中醫之信賴始於不變，中醫學院及各中醫團體不辭堅苦，持續努力提高中醫文化水平，不定期相繼舉辦國際中醫藥交流活動，促使中醫師的數量與質量都呈現快速的提升。

This article informs about the difficulties in the developments of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Malaysia. In the past, TCM belongs to one of the nation traditional medicine. It was not recognized by the government due to the practitioners of TCM of their educational level, clinical practices and trainings were insufficient. However, the belief in TCM among the people was not affected or change; and the parties concerned such as the TCM academies and associations still drive on in the promotion and development of TCM by continuously organizing and conducting international TCM dialogues and conventions to upgrade the standard and the quality and the quantity of the local TCM practitioners.
