摘要

巴別塔的變亂是聖經記載的人類歷史上最重要的事件之一，這標誌著人自我主體意識的出現、各個不同民族歷史的開始，而更重要的則是語言與理解差異的產生以及翻譯的必要。但翻譯不僅僅是語言學問題，它還關聯著理解、真理、正義等重要議題。因而，本文即以此為出發點，以本雅明與德里達關於「翻譯」的對話為中心，試圖呈現二十世紀西方兩位最重要的思想學者對翻譯問題做出的深入思考。

Babel's confusion is one of the most significant events recorded in the Bible, which marked the beginning of subjective self-consciousness and diverse national history, and especially the emergence of different language and interpretation and the requirement for translation. But translation raises not only the issue of linguistics, it also concerns discussions about interpretation, truth, justice, and so on. Therefore, taking the above-mentioned as point of departure, this paper will center around the dialogue on ”translation” between Walter Benjamin and Jacques Derrida, and try to explore their profound reflections on this topic.
