摘要
罹患癌症對任何人而言都是莫大的衝擊和煎熬，本篇個案報告主要是探討一位罹患卵巢癌病人所面臨的身心衝擊以及住院治療所呈現的護理問題。護理過程中，筆者與個案及家屬建立互信的治療性人際關係，於護理期間（2006年2月4日至2006年2月14日）運用Gordon十一項功能性健康型態評估工具，經直接照顧、會談、觀察等多種方式，收集主、客觀資料，確立個案有：焦慮、急性疼痛、睡眠型態紊亂、身體心像紊亂等護理問題。在整個護理過程中以護理人員特有的細心及耐心，提供個案個別性、整體性、連續性的評估及照顧，使得個案將危機變轉機，正向面對癌症手術後的生活改變及願意持續接受化學治療，期盼此臨床經驗分享，提供護理人員日後照護此類病人的參考。

The diagnosis of cancer is both shocking and traumatic for anyone. This article describes the nursing dilemmas faced during the care of a patient with newly diagnosed ovarian cancer. As the author developed a strong relationship with the patient and family members, the patient's emotional stress was assessed and the numerous nursing issues arising during her hospital course were addressed. During a 10-day period, data on the patient's anxiety, pain level, sleeping patterns, and somato-psychological issues were assessed in the course of routine nursing care, non-structured interviews, and observation. Evaluation was performed using Gordon's 11-item functional health assessment. The concern and patience demonstrated by the nursing staff helped the patient as she faced major surgery and subsequent chemotherapy. This experience was a successful model of individualized, complete, continuous care.
