照顧一位初診斷愛滋病病人的護理經驗
Nursing Care Experience of an Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome Patient
摘要
本文為描述護理一位罹患愛滋病的19歲男性病人之經驗，照護期間為2009年2月20日至2009年3月13日，藉由身體檢查與評估、觀察、會談、查閱病歷等方式收集資料，並運用Gordon十一項功能性健康型態做為評估工具，確立個案健康問題為：保護能力改變、焦慮、社交隔離、健康尋求行為／愛滋病相關的訊息。護理過程中主動與個案打招呼，及運用適當的肢體接觸建立治療性人際關係，教導個案愛滋病相關的自我防護及居家照護，個案對於衛教內容都能謹記在心且能正確執行，此外告知個案醫護人員不會未經病人同意就將病情告知來訪友人，以減輕個案擔心病情曝光，並配合其宗教信仰，安排神職人員給予祈福、禱告，鼓勵個案走出病房參與院內的教會活動，個案能藉由醫護人員的鼓勵與宗教的支持，改善罹病後的焦慮與社交隔離，希望藉此經驗的分享，提供護理人員照顧愛滋病病人之參考。

This article describes the 3-week nursing care experience of a 19-year-old male diagnosed with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Data was collected through physical assessment, direct observation, interview, and medical record review. According to Gordon's 11-item functional health assessment, patient's health problems were (1) protective ability altered, (2) anxiety, (3) social isolation, and (4) AIDS relevant health-seeking behaviors. Nursing interventions included establishment of interpersonal relationship, therapeutic touch, patient assurance confidentiality, patient teaching on self- protection and home care knowledge, and arrangement for clergy support. Patient paid attention during the teaching and demonstrated accurate application to what he learned. Nurse’s encouragement and religious support helped relieving patient's anxiety and social isolation.
