摘要
超越老化（Gerotranscedence）為老人對事件看法的轉變、接受身體及外觀的改變、重新找回自我的價值、並伴隨著生活滿意度的提昇。Tornstam（1994）最早發展出超越老化理論，且被運用於研究中，但目前臨床實務缺乏對此概念的一致性定義及分析，本文旨在運用Walker和Avant（2010）之概念分析步驟，進行超越老化之概念分析，先查證此概念的定義，再確立定義性特徵，並列舉典型案例、相反案例、邊緣案例、及相關案例做為說明，進而確認影響超越老化的前因後果並敘述實證性資料。期透過此概念分析，增進護理人員對「超越老化」的認識，並有助於臨床實務及研究之應用，幫助老年人成功度過老化的時期，提升其自我價值及生活品質。

Gerotranscedence is recognized as an idea that the elderly people change their views, accept their physical and appearance changes, regain self-value, and enhance life satisfaction. Tornstam (1994) first developed the theory of gerotranscendence, which has been used in research. However, there is lack of the consistency of the definition of this concept in clinical practice. We used concept analysis strategies (Walker & Avant, 2010) to determine the defining attributes of gerotranscendence; identify model, borderline, contrary, and related cases; and recognize antecedents and consequences of gerotranscendence. We hoped to assist nursing staffs to gain a better understanding of gerotranscendence, to benefit clinical practice and further research, and finally may help elderly people live the aging period well and enhance their self-value and life quality.
