The microstrip antennas are low-profile, conformable to planar and nonplanar surfaces, simple and inexpensive to fabricate using modern printed-circuit technology, compatible with MMIC (monolithic microwave integrated circuits) designs. In high-performance aircraft, spacecraft and satellite application, where size, weight, cost, ease of installation, and aerodynamic profile are constraints, the microstrip antenna may be required and when the particular patch shape and mode are selected they are very versatile in terms of resonant frequency, polarization, and pattern. The preliminary design of the UAV and the function of reconnaissance with corners-truncated CP (circular polarized) microstrip antenna propagation are proposed in this research, and the CCD camera is mounted to the UAV as photographic device. To integrate the CCD camera, wireless communication device and microstrip antenna into an innovative module is the purpose of this research, and this module could be evaluated in practical flight test.
