Combination of 3D Discrete Fourier Transform and 3D Angular Radial Transform for 3D Model Retrieval

In this paper, a 3D model retrieval system will be proposed based on the 3D discrete Fourier transform(3D-DFT) and 3D angular radial transform(3D-ART). The two features, 3D-DFT and 3D-ART are then combined in an attempt to improve retrieval result. The performance of the experiments conducted on the Princeton Shape Benchmark (PSB) database will be compared with other state-of-the-art descriptors.
