教練行為對於運動參與者心理組成的影響一直是運動心理學領域的主要研究議題之一。過去研究發現教練的行為,尤其是回饋行為,與運動員的動機及退出意圖可能有顯著的相關。本研究主要目的在檢驗教練行為評量系統量表的結構,並檢驗教練回饋行為對少年運動員的動機和退出意圖的預測。研究結果發現:教練行為評量系統量表具備良好的建構效度,符合過去研究發現四個因素的結構,但未來研究應重新概念化教練回饋行為,以此概念發展具良好信效度的教練回饋行為測量工具。另外,本研究也發現教練的讚美、鼓勵、指導及體能活動處罰的行為可以來預測運動員的動機,教練給予讚美、鼓勵、指導及教練不會給予鼓勵、讚美、提供修正訊息的行為可以來預測運動員的退出意圖。由此推論,教練若要提昇少年運動員的動機及降低退出意圖,就要在他有好的表現時,多給予鼓勵、讚美及提供修正訊息的行為。
The influence of coaches' behaviors on sport participants' psychological responses had been one of the major issues in sport psychology. Literature has indicated that coaches' behaviors, especially feedbacks, were related to athlete's motivation, and drop-out intention. This study main purpose to test Coaching Behavior Assessment System questionnaire's structure, and to examine coaches' feedbacks to predict youth athletes' motivation, and drop-out intention. Results showed that Coaching Behavior Assessment System questionnaire's structure had four factors structure as the same the other past studies. But it will restructure coaches' feedbacks concept in the future, and base on the concept to develop well validity and reliability tool for measure coaches' feedbacks. Besides, results showed coaches' praises, encouragements, instructions and physical activity punishment can predict athlete's motivation, and coaches' praises, encouragements, instructions and don't give encouragements, praises, fix correct behaviors can predict athlete's drop-out intention. Hence, coaches want to higher youth athletes' motivation and lower drop-out intention, when youth athletes have good performance must give encouragements, praises, fix correct behaviors.
