摘要

南方詵人曾貴海醫師，除了專注於自己的胸腔內科本業外，還抽出時間帶領高屏地區一群人士，從事綠色環保運動，並且取得一定成效。在此基礎底下，因著愛台灣的心，推而廣之，催生台灣文學系所，要求提高語文教育中白話文的比重，加強大學院校的台灣歷史研究。上述事工全然的蓬勃發展，是在意料之中；領導社會運動需要纖細縝密的詵人心思，而曾貴海以同款心態轉化社會運動為詵的創作，從歌頌土地，敬仰台灣，到初老六十，中年五十的心情告白，都源之於他的愛，所以會有充滿溫暖陽光般的，直陳有情人生的詵作呈現。近些年來，曾貴海從根本處著手，充分發揮客家本色，從讚歎客家婦女的〈夜合〉，到述說鄉野歷史的〈下六根步月樓保衛戰〉。說明了他無窮盡的活力，以及對抗不公不義集團的豪情壯志。曾貴海醫師謂之為具有社會運動型態的詵人，實是當之無愧。

Southern poet, Dr. Tseng Kuei-Hai, not only focused on his specialized thoracic medical but also spent his time leading a group of people from Kaohsiung to involve in environmental movement and the result turned out well. With this foundation and love for Taiwan, he went a step further to establish the department of Taiwanese Literature to raise the rate of education of Taiwanese vernacular and to enforce the research for Taiwanese history. Everything described above was expectable. It takes meticulous thoughts of a poet to lead social movement, however, Dr. Tseng Kuei-Hai, converted the same thoughts to the creation of poems from extol the earth, admiring Taiwan and the mood expression in the age of fifties and sixties. Since everything came along with his love, his poems showed up like warm sun and stated the feeling life. In the past few years, Dr. Tseng Kuei-Hai's poems stated from the foundation to fully elaborate Hakka culture. His poet 'Magnolia coco' highly praises Hakka women and 'Defending War at Siia-liou-gen moon building' tells the history of the country. These poems illustrate his infinite vigor and his high aspiration against injustice groups. Dr. Tseng Kuei-Hai does have a clear conscience to be called as a poet with the character of social movement.
