化妝品常用精油抗氧化能力與總酚含量之研究及丁香精油主要化學成分分析

An Analysis of the Antioxidant Capacity, Total Phenolic Content, and Chemical Composition of Commonly Used Essential Oils

摘要


本研究爲分析化妝品常用之五十種精油清除DPPH自由塞之能力、TEAC總抗氧化能力、總酚含量與其主要之化學成分。研究結果顯示五十種試驗樣品中以丁香精油(Clove essential oil)之總酚含量與清除DPPH自由基之能力、TEAC總抗氧化能力最爲顯著。樣品濃度爲10mg/mL,能清除94.08%之DPPH自由塞,其EC50之濃度爲87μg/mL。根據TEAC總抗氧化能力测定結果,其值爲78.89mmol of trolox/g。於總酚含量,其值爲4887μg/g。以氣相層析質譜儀鑑定其主要化學成分,丁香精油含有高比例87.32%的丁香酚(Eugenol)。實驗結果得知,精油中酚類化合物的含量與清除DPPH自由塞能力及TEAC總抗氧化能力成正相關。

For this research, 50 kinds of commonly used essential oils were analyzed to investigate their DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) free-radical scavenging ability, trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity, total phenolic contents, and chemical composition. Of all the essential oils studied, the DPPH free-radical scavenging ability, trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity, and total phenolic content of clove essential oil proved to be the best. A quantity of 10 mg/mL of clove essential oil displayed a 94.08% DPPH free radical scavenging ability, and its ECS) was 87 μg/mL. Additionally, it had the highest trolox equivalent antioxidant capaciyt (78.89 mmol of trolox/g) and total phenolic content (4887 μg/g). GC-MS analysis determined a eugenol quantity of 87.32% in clove essential oil. These results reveal that the DPPH free-radical scavenging ability and trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity of clove essential oil exhibit a positive correlation with the total phenolic content.
